General Information

Any information taken on registration or collected on your computer is kept on a database within private directories at our server farm. NursingSociety.co.uk does not use information taken on forum registration for any promotional use. Your "optional" shared information is available for registered users in profiles. You can change your profile in "My Account" once you have registered and logged in to the service.

Cookies

A "Cookie" is the name given to a small piece of information stored on your computer. This information is set by NursingSociety.co.uk to remember your member ID and password, last visit times and other preferences. This is not used to collect any other information from you and NursingSociety.co.uk will only access the cookies set by itself. No other information can be read from your computer. Your password is encrypted for extra security.

Email Address Distribution

We also encrypt email addresses. If you have chosen to have your email "hidden" users cannot contact your email address. However if you have elected to show your email address, a form to contact you can be found on your profile. This form does not show your email address and your email address can not be collect by spam systems.

Email Updates

NursingSociety.co.uk can also email all registered users. This function will not disclose your email address to other users and is used for promotions and important service updates.
